In the cottage:

If you have some bad weather, there are plenty of books, toys, board games/Wii games and DVDs in the cottage to keep you busy.

In Caister:

The Independent Lifeboat Centre and Museum has been recently refurbished and is a valuable volunteer-run service on the local coastline. Kids can dress up as lifeboat men and explore the boats and their history. Please support it if you can. (Check opening hours first.)

The community in Caister have come together since the pandemic to set up the volunteer-run Rabbit Hutch cafĂ© and community hub offering great value refreshments, arts/crafts and activities at the local play area and have funded a new zipwire there.

Nearby Gt Yarmouth has:

The Marina Centre has a pool plus flumes and splashpad, as well as Clip 'n' Climb (and a gym),so plenty to burn off some excess energy if you have been feeling cooped up. Parking is next door and with a discount for centre users. Spaces can be hard to come by, although we've always managed to find what seems like the last one.
