Visit Great Yarmouth - also has a number of planned walks grouped by distance.
Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Woodlands Trust are also great resources for walks.
At the cottage, there are some OS maps and Day Trip Packs with suggested days out to inspire you and help with planning.

From Caister beach - You can actually walk as far as your heart desires right from the front door of our cottage. There's a shorter walk turning right/south on Caister beach through the dunes to the Denes (flat dunes) at the top of Great Yarmouth, or if you turn left/north on the beach, you can walk as far as you like along the beach and dunes up through Caister, Scratby, Hemsby, Winterton - and beyond...

The Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve are a lovely quiet place to roam free and a fairly short drive. Suggested walks here

Hickling Broad - Around a 20min drive, Hickling Broad has a several length walks you can choose from, with one of the best chances to see Britain's largest (and rare) butterfly, the Swallowtail in season. You're likely to spot plenty of dragonflies and other butterflies too, in season. There's a modest charge for adult non-members of the Wildlife Trust.

Heritage Walks - There are some really interesting Heritage Walks around Great Yarmouth too, focussing on the historic South Quay, the herring industry and fisher girls or the murders committed in the 'Rows' and see where trials were held by the Witchfinder General and the history of the marketplace.

Horsey Beach and village circular walk  - This circular walk takes you to Horsey Beach, famous for its seal colony, and then around Horsey village. You'll walk through the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as The Broads National Park, taking in both gentle coastal and sweeping Norfolk Broads landscapes.
