TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE
- Smoking is not
permitted anywhere inside the cottage.
- Guests may use the
cottage and garden for a holiday as specified on the booking form. The
party leader making the booking is responsible for the conditions of the
booking. Guests are responsible for their children's safety whilst at
Fisherman’s Stroll Cottage.
- Guests should be
limited to those named on the booking form. If you require day visitors please
notify us in advance (for insurance purposes). The cottage is equipped for
groups of 6. There is an additional
double sofa bed that may be used, but seating and equipment is based on a
party of 6. If the cottage is
booked for 6 (full) there can be no more than 2 visitors at one time (a
total of 8 people).
- Bookings may not be
passed to another party without prior permission, please make contact to
discuss.
- To keep costs low,
linen/towels/teatowels are not provided, please bring what you need.

- In the event of
cancellation by the guests, the deposit will not be refunded, however the
balance may be refunded if the property is re-let. If a cancellation is made 6 months or
more before the start date of the booking, the full amount may be repaid
at the owners’ discretion.
- In the unlikely event of unforeseen
circumstances, the owners reserve the right to cancel any booking and will
endeavour to provide reasonable notice.
A full refund would be offered.
- A deposit of £50 is
payable on booking to secure your reservation. The balance of the rental
is payable 1 month prior to arrival. For bookings made less than 1 month
in advance, the total amount is payable on booking.
- Any damages or
breakages which may occur, must be paid for. Accidental damages or
breakages of a minor nature will normally not be charged. Please let us know of any damage.
- Any complaints must
be made known to the owner immediately.
- Dogs are welcome,
but no more than 2 (well-behaved) dogs please. (Cleaning surcharge
applies).
- Guests shall permit
the owners or their agents access to the property at reasonable times for
the purpose of inspection or to carry out repairs deemed necessary.
Bookings of 2 weeks can include a visit from our cleaning team mid
way. Please contact us if you would
like to have this.
- Please take out your
own insurance cover as the owners cannot be responsible for any loss
incurred from theft or damage to your belongings, please also arrange
cancellation insurance if you wish.
- A travel cot can be
provided free on request for children under 2. Please note that for safety reasons,
bedding is not supplied.
- Heating and water
are included in the hire charge.
- Bookings are from
4pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure (for 7 day
bookings Saturday to Saturday) for all school holidays except Christmas
and February half term. Timing on these breaks and short breaks and
weekends bookings outside of school holidays will be more flexible where
we can be, please make contact to discuss availability of your preferred
booking.
- Guests are asked to
leave accommodation as they found it when vacating.
